You have worked hard to complete your educational journey and we are proud of you. We are excited to hold an in-person Commencement Ceremony on January 27, 2024 at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa!
Commencement Ceremony Form Deadline
Starting August 18, 2023 the commencement ceremony form will be available in BRUIN, please register for the ceremony by January 2, 2024.
In order to be included in the ceremony, you will need to fill out the Commencement Ceremony Form.
In addition to your conferral, you may participate in the Commencement Ceremony held twice each year in the Omaha Metropolitan area. Hosted by the Bellevue University Board of Directors, the Commencement Ceremony is the official celebration of your success. The event is open to all family and friends.
Please note: Having your degree conferred does not register you into the commencement ceremony, and participating in the commencement ceremony does not mean you have graduated or your degree has been conferred.
A Doctoral Hooding ceremony will be held on the Friday, January 26, 2024 separate from the Graduate and Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony held on Saturday, January 27, 2024. The Doctoral Ceremony will take place on the main campus of Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska.
Bellevue University streams the commencement live so those who cannot attend still have an opportunity to watch their graduate walk across the stage. Additional streaming information will be posted closer to the ceremony.
The Doctoral Hooding will be available to view live via Zoom. A link will be sent to participants prior to the ceremony.
Both ceremonies will be recorded and available for viewing at the Bellevue University YouTube page. Recordings undergo some editing and should be available 7 – 10 days after the ceremony.
